报告人简介：
Richard R. Batsell, Ph.D., was a Member of the Full-Time Faculty in the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management, Rice University, for 38 years and is now a Member of the Emeritus Faculty. He is also the founder of Analytica Inc., (AnalyticaResearch.com) a full-service Data Science, Business Analytics, Marketing Research and Satisfaction Measurement firm. Prior to joining the faculty at Rice University, Dr. Batsell taught at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Texas at Austin. For the last 12 summers he has also taught as an adjunct faculty member in the Washington University, Fudan University joint Executive MBA Program offered in Shanghai, China. His three degrees are from the University of Texas at Austin: Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics (with honors) 1971, Bachelor of Business Administration in Statistics and Operations Research (with honors) 1971, and Ph.D. in Marketing (especially focusing on Analytics), 1976. He is a member of ORSA/TIMS, the American Marketing Association, the Association of Consumer Research, and has been honored with membership in Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and Beta Gamma Sigma. Throughout his career he has been recognized for teaching excellence on 7 separate occasions.
